Mantova Food & Science Festival – 2018 Edition
The Food & Science Festival is a unique event of scientific dissemination of national and international importance that deals with and deepens, in a creative and accessible way, the issues related to the science of food production and consumption. Besides to offer farmers an unmissable opportunity to update and share information and experiences, it is an event created to satisfy an audience of curious people of all ages who want to get to know an experience innovation, stories and the challenges of which food and the agri-food sector are carriers.
For the second year, PoliMi DESIS Lab was called to participate with “All’orto! All’orto!”: a series of workshops on urban agriculture dedicated to children and adults.
The activities were 4:
- si semina;
- hotel degli insetti;
- invasi;
- vedi verde;
The event ended with a green auction, whose proceeds were donated to “10,000 gardens in Africa – Slow Food” for ONLUS biodiversity.
