Multifunctional Center for Neuropsychiatry
The project of the multifunctional therapeutic and rehabilitative center, commissioned by the cooperative Fraternità Giovani which deals with neuropsychiatry in Brescia, has the goal to create a reference point in the mental healthcare system for young people in the Lombardy region. The center includes in its premises a residential and semi-residential center, and a center for outpatient interventions aimed for anticipated care.
The contribution of the POLIMI DESIS LAB consisted in: the identification of development opportunities on the territory to address different levels of patients’ needs; facilitating and supporting in the co-production of the center’s services involving young people, families, caregivers and key actors from the local context; the definition of the center’s spaces following the emerging functions and initiatives.
